Tim Steffen has been an apple picker, waiter, bartender, filmmaker, café owner, dog walker, piano player, newspaper reporter, and curriculum writer. In between all this, he attended Rutgers University and graduated with a BA in English and Film Studies. He also holds a master’s degree in early childhood education from Bank Street College of Education, and another master’s degree in interreligious studies and education from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He is currently an educator at a private school in New York City and divides his time between there and Lancaster, PA.
